What type of products can I dose with Tenco electronic dosing units?

Electronic volumetric units are ideal for dosing liquid and semi-liquid products, including high-viscosity ones (up to around 20,000 cPs), such as sauces, creams, purées, thick pastes, detergents, or cosmetic products.

Are electronic dosing units only suitable for automatic systems?

Yes. These units are designed to be integrated into automatic lines (tray sealers, thermoformers, vertical or horizontal packaging machines). They are not intended for bench-top or manual use.

How does the piston movement occur?

The piston is moved by a brushless servomotor, controlled by a PLC or HMI panel. This ensures accurate, repeatable, and fully programmable dosing.

Can I use a servomotor other than Siemens?

Yes. The units can be supplied without a servomotor, with a flange and coupling compatible with Siemens, Bosch, Omron, Schneider, and other brands.

What dosing range is available?

We offer various models, from 1 ml up to 5000 ml. The most common versions cover dosing ranges such as 50–1300 ml or 100–2000 ml.

Are multi-head versions available?

Yes. We offer multi-head groups (e.g. two or six heads), each operated by a dedicated servomotor, ideal for high-productivity applications.

Is the unit CIP-compatible?

Yes. Upon request, we can prepare the units for connection to CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems, with a wash chamber, extra-stroke piston, dedicated seals, and PLC outputs.

How is the dosing unit cleaned?

The product-contact parts are made of AISI 316L stainless steel and can be quickly disassembled thanks to tri-clamp fittings, for fast manual cleaning or automatic washing if CIP is integrated.

Can I integrate hoppers with mixers?

Yes. We offer conical or horizontal hoppers in 15, 30, or 50-liter sizes, also available with motorized mixer and heating, to be paired with the dosing unit.

Do you also supply the control panel?

Yes. We can supply the unit complete with electric control panel and HMI, ready for connection to the line, or just the doser with electrical predisposition.
