EASYCAP – Pneumatic Capper for Twist-Off Caps and Plastic Screw Caps

The EASYCAP pneumatic capper is a versatile and compact solution designed to ensure the secure and efficient closure of a wide range of containers with twist-off caps or plastic screw caps. Thanks to its fully pneumatic operation and benchtop design, EASYCAP offers high production flexibility, allowing for the processing of different cap formats and types. It is the ideal choice for small and medium-sized producers looking for a reliable solution for automated capping.

The Easycap benchtop pneumatic capper can also be equipped with a mechanical clamp for closing caps with brush applicators, such as nail polish, gel, and other nail product caps. Easy to use, functional to adjust, and compact in size, it is a simple yet efficient solution for capping jars, bottles, and many other types of containers.

Multiple Compatibility:

Twist-Off Caps: EASYCAP is compatible with twist-off caps in various sizes, ranging from 38 mm to 110 mm, including both standard and tall twist-off caps.

Plastic Screw Caps and Flip-Top Caps: The machine is also suitable for plastic screw caps with diameters up to 50 mm, such as DIN61 vented caps, HDPE screw caps with seals, and flip-top caps.

Maximum Container Height:

The machine can handle containers with a maximum height of 330 mm. Upon request, EASYCAP can be equipped with custom capping columns for bottles or jugs with greater heights, ensuring even more versatility in the production line.

Interchangeable Mandrel:

The capper comes with a standard mandrel specific to one cap format. Additional mandrels can be purchased for other formats, allowing the machine to easily adapt to different types of caps, both twist-off and plastic screw caps. The mandrels are designed to ensure a secure and uniform closure, guaranteeing precise capping in every situation.

Fully Pneumatic Operation:

Thanks to the pneumatic motor, EASYCAP is ideal for work environments where electrical components cannot be used. The air pressure, adjustable between 3 and 7 bar, controls the motor’s power, rotation speed, and torque, allowing the machine to be tailored to various production needs.

Optional Support Blocks:

To further enhance container stability during capping, a sliding pneumatic jar block is available. This accessory prevents the container from rotating during the capping process, ensuring greater operational safety. Additionally, for PET or lightweight plastic bottles, EASYCAP can be equipped with a custom neck clamp to support the container during the cap screwing process.

Is the compressor included in the delivery? What type of compressor do you recommend for the operation of the Easycap capper?
The compressor is not included in the delivery. The minimum required compressor is at least 80/100 Lt of 2Hp tank of power and at least 300 Nl/min of air flow. Possibly silenced and absolutely non-lubricated compressor (possibly equipped with an air filter, if not a dryer).
Can it be had with an electric motor?
No, the tappi sigillo capper operates completely pneumatically and is not available in the electric version. In case you need an electric machine, you can choose our Screwcap capper.
When I purchase the tappi sigillo capper for closing jars, can the mandrel adapt to different formats?
No, the tappi sigillo pneumatic capper must necessarily be adjusted for each format to be closed. This means that if there are several cap formats, it is necessary to purchase three closure mandrels (one mandrel for each format).
How do I adjust the screwing force of the cap?
By regulating the pressure of the compressed air that feeds the motor, the higher the pressure, the greater the force applied.
What is the adjustment of the downward speed of the screw head cylinder for and how should it be adjusted?
The descent speed of the screwdriver must never be adjusted to maximum speed. It is used to optimize the performance of the capper: it is necessary to find the right compromise between the rotation movement and the descent speed of the spindle according to the type of container and the type of cap to be closed. For example, on some plastic screw caps the descent speed may be greater, while in the twist off it is necessary to work more slowly.
